I can't imagine a Chevrolet Corvette without four round taillights, two on each side. History doesn't recall whether it was design boss Bill Mitchell or his hot-rodding upstart Larry Shinoda who first drew the four round tail lights on a Corvette, but whoever it was, it stuck. Will the C7 Corvette finally release the car's design from the 50-year tyranny of round tail lamps? We will soon see.
