Gear shifters: so easy to do wrong, so tricky to do right.
My current favorite is the shifter you find in the new Abarth 695 Biposto. It's an H-pattern manual, but it's a dog box. That means no synchros. If it's anything like the dog box I used in Tony Angelo's drift car, you really have to slam each gear into place. One missed shift could lunch that whole transmission. But if you're really forceful with it, the shifter almost pulls into gear on its own. It's a bizarre feeling, and absolutely addictive.

More than that, the one in this Abarth is damn pretty, what with all its exposed machinery.

What gear shift (manual or automatic if you feel so bold) do you think looks the best?
