What's the most awesome automotive commercial ever made?

When it's time to create a major promotional TV spot, sometimes automakers (and often, oil companies) go for broke. Awesomeness isn't always a function of production budget and cinematographic excellence, but often it is. What's the most awesome automotive commercial ever made?

We're digging back to 1997 to one of Shell Oil's Ferrari spectaculars. In this one, a Ferrari F310B F1 car is refueled in mid-burn through the Mojave desert. And why not pull out the platinum card, when you've just put together the makings of the Scuderia Ferrari dream team of Rory Byrne, Ross Brawn and Michael Schumacher. (They couldn't hold back Jacques Villeneuve and his Williams-Renault that year, but the world would hear them soon enough.)

(Also check out the very '80s "making of" videos. Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3.)

(QOTD is your chance to address the day's most pressing automotive questions and to experience the opinions of the insightful insiders, practicing pundits, and gleeful gearheads that make up the Jalopnik commentariat. If you've got a suggestion for a good Question of the Day, send an email to tips at jalopnik dot com.)

Don't know if Toyota made Jalopnik pull it from the archives but somebody has to have the "sportscar of trucks commercial". That is my favorite commercial ever. A regular cab 5 speed 2wd tacoma being described as a "2 seat sports machine" featuring disco rancher and sheep. Brilliant.
