Back in the old days, the DOT required all headlights to be round. That made car designers miserable, but did lead to a creative solution: concealed (or pop-up) headlamps. What's the coolest looking car with pop-up headlamps?
There were a few dozen ways I wanted to go with this, but ultimately I narrowed it down to which car's design owed the most to its pop-up headlamps? (You're free to disagree with judging it this way.) Naturally, that's the C3 Corvette. Perhaps no other car's design ever better incorporated pop-up headlights in such a way that they didn't seem like an afterthought. (Thanks to PyroZnype for today's QOTD!)
