Welcome to the Jalopnik Weekend Motorsports Roundup, where we let you know what’s going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and where you can talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?

If there wasn’t a chance of your DVR exploding from so much racing on TV, we’d tell you to set it for the weekend. But there is a whole lot of it, so prepare yourselves.

It’s Lone Star Le Mans weekend down here in Texas, with IMSA and the FIA World Endurance Championship headlining at Circuit of The Americas on Saturday. Stef Schrader is out there to bring you the fun race coverage and the Facebook Live broadcasts, and Kurt Bradley is shooting photos for you all to enjoy just like last year.

Up north in Illinois, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is kicking off its Chase for the Championship at Chicagoland Speedway. The Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series haven’t quite gotten to the start of their Chases yet, but they’ll be in Chicago too.

The Verizon IndyCar Series is at Sonoma Raceway on Sunday, coming off of its return to the scenic Watkins Glen International in New York. Red Bull Global Rallycross will be in Seattle that day, with their usual slight delay of race coverage on NBC.

On the other side of the world, Formula One is back to street racing for the Singapore Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit. If you haven’t heard, F1 has some new owners—the American-based company, Liberty Media. If it makes their job a bit easier, we laid out all of the things they need to fix.

Also racing this weekend will be the FIA World Rallycross Championship and the FIM World Superbike Championship. Both events will be on beIN, but you’ll need to set some early alarms in order to catch them.

As always, there’s plenty of tape-delayed coverage on as well. But with the live schedule over the next couple of days, you probably won’t need those to keep you entertained. If you know of any streams or events we missed this weekend, please feel free to share in the comments below.
