Welcome to the Jalopnik Weekend Motorsports Roundup, where we let you know what's going on in the world of racing, where you can see it, and where you can talk about it all in one convenient place. Where else would you want to spend your weekend?
Last weekend was kinda big. There was the Indy 500, the Coke 600, and the Monaco Grand Prix. So this weekend should be a comparative snoozefest, right?
No.
Both NASCAR and IndyCar return, with a race in Dover and the Dual in Detroit, respectively, but this time IndyCar is joined by a TUSC race, and NASCAR is not joined by anything, because it's NASCAR, but NASCAR's got a bunch of fans so I don't think it'll get too lonely.
Extra-special treats this weekend include DTM, MotoGP, and NHRA drag racing, none of which have anything to do with each other, really, besides intense competition and extreme velocities, but really you should watch all three if you want to be rounded.
And you should want to be well-rounded, because it's what your mother always wanted. You don't want to disappoint her.
