John Hennessey has already challenged Bugatti to a duel with his animalistic 1,226 hp Cadillac CTS-V coupé. Now he's testing the limited run cars on at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas.

It's an appropriate location considering that this car's twin turbo 7-liter V8 is as powerful as a lot of jet engines.

Hennessey will only build 12 VR1200 Cadillacs, although he'll offer a VR1200 upgrade kit for those who think they can handle the heart-stopping power in a normal CTS-V. The specs say that the car pictured in this video screams from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds, turning in a quarter mile time of 10.2 seconds.

And listen to that exhaust note! If that doesn't give you goose bumps, you aren't really alive.
