Computers will get better and take over our reality at some point, but until then, they’re good enough to virtually recreate every line, shape and texture of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 in fully rendered 3D. It’s a relief knowing our virtual reality futures will still be populated by excellent cars.
In the latest clip released by Porsche, watch designer Djordje Ilic piece together the Carrera RS 3.8 based on his experience growing up with a toy model of the car:
I can’t wait to get my virtual mittens on one of these. How long until I can plug in and never again remove my headphones, VR goggles and whatever other invasive simulation gear? I’ll do it if there’s a giant “real” mansion waiting for me with one one of these in my “garage.” I’d do it in a heartbeat. Drop my ass off in the Matrix.
