In less time than it takes for you to count to 13, the Nissan GT-R AMS Alpha 12+ can hit 186 mph. That's because in addition to its absurd name, it has an absurd amount of power: 1,700 horses, apparently.
The Russian psychos over at DragTimes have a video of this hyper-tuned GT-R in action, and it's quite impressive to watch.
In 12.87 seconds this car can achieve speeds of 300 km/hr, or 186 mph, which they say makes it faster than the Hennessey Venom GT, the Koenigsegg Agera R and the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Also, it will do one mile in just 22.77 seconds. The driver gets it up to about 233 mph before he backs off.
So if you're a Veyron SS owner who's disgruntled over your car's loss of the "world's fastest" title, it's nice to know there are alternatives out there, even if they aren't technically production cars.
Hat tip to real dexta!
