Watch A 950-Horsepower Shelby 1000 Tear Up The Desert

There are two Shelby 1000s in the world. Watchmaker David Yurman took one out to the desert and filmed all of its whining, supercharged, tire-smoking glory.

We don't know much about Yurman's watch, but we could listen to that V8/supercharger combo for hours. The whole video is like watching Mad Max in high def, but with guys wrenching on things in slo-mo instead of some crazed anti-Semite strutting around in leather pants.

And no, none of this footage was ‘shopped. It's just what you get when you put 950 all-natural horses to work.
