Two men in a large truck had the luckiest day of their lives when a speeding freight train plowed into the back of their rig. The truck was completely destroyed, but by some miracle, the pair walked away from the wreck.

The men had been driving the truck for a water district in Wellington, Utah. The driver told police that he hadn't seen the train coming. A construction worker who was on his lunch break videoed the whole thing, thinking he was just getting some footage of a passing train for his 4-year-old son, who loves trains.

"It was surreal; It was like a scene out of a movie almost," he told WRCB TV.

There's no word on how the train's driver fared, but these two guys appear to have cheated death. I'm happy for them and all, but I'd still like to know how the hell you fail to see a train coming. If you can't see it, you'd undoubtedly hear it as you looked back and forth to make sure there's no train coming. Or maybe there's some law of nature where vehicles always stall on train tracks when they're about to get clobbered.
