This Is Just an Unreal Save

Twelve Hours of Sebring, IMSA’s annual endurance race in Sebring, Florida, started off pretty wet this year. That was almost a serious problem for driver Tom Blomqvist. Almost.

Blomqvist is racing alongside Colton Herta and Connor De Phillippi on BMW’s team, in the GT Le Mans class (the Le Mans class is the quicker of the two GT classes, the other being GT Daytona). They are currently running fifth, but that’s better than what could’ve been disaster. You can watch all 12 hours of Sebring on NBC Sports’ website.

Serious Dad

These GT Le mans race cars have ALB, ESP all all the other electronic gizmos without which in their cars Millennials won’t even leave their garage anymore today. So yes, it was a great save, but it was the electronics which saved Blomqvist.
