These Are Your Favorite Vintage Racing Videos

Modern racing is kinda boring, but we can enjoy the sport's many golden eras through the magic of YouTube

I asked you, our feral commentariat, for your very favorite vintage racing videos. I wanted to see hot wheel-to-wheel action with cars that were built without safety as a concern and when the term aero mostly referred to a delicious British candy bar.

Friends, you delivered once again and now I'm going to share all these spicy racing clips with you. Let's pretend we don't have to do our jobs for a while and enjoy them.

Climb Dance

I have many videos in mind, like Senna pole lap in Monaco but if there is a special one, this is 1988 Pikes Peak Hill Climb with the Peugeot 405, driven by Ari Vatanen. This run was just insane, gravel only, and no sun visor... As a 8 years old boy living in France at the time, it made me discover what Pikes Peak was.
