Few things are more disappointing than buying a new car only to realize that you actually regret your decision. After all, short of buying a house, a car is usually the most expensive thing you’ll ever own. We’ve already posted Consumer Reports’ list of the most disappointing cars to own so you can hopefully avoid making one of those mistakes, but what about the most satisfying cars to own? Luckily, they have a list for that one, too. Let’s take a look at the cars the least number of people regret buying.

Most people who bought these cars would definitely buy them again.

Lexus NX Hybrid
Great gas mileage and excellent reliability make the Lexus NX a tempting alternative to the excellent BMW X3. And few people who go that route end up regretting it, with 87 percent of people who buy one saying they’d buy it again.
Mazda MX-5 Miata
There’s a reason that Miata is always the answer. It’s just a fantastic, relatively affordable sports car that’s a pleasure to own. It may not be a horsepower monster, but 88 percent of owners would buy it again.
Rivian R1T
The Rivian R1S’s owner satisfaction score was already impressive enough, but the pickup truck version, the R1T, is apparently even more satisfying to own. Like the Miata, 88 percent of people who buy the R1T say they would definitely buy it again.
Chevrolet Corvette
The mid-engine C8 Corvette has received plenty of accolades ever since it was introduced, but the most important one might be the fact that it’s the most satisfying car to own.
