These Are The Best Lease Deals For July 2024
As this writer is realizing their meager wage isn't stretching as far as it once did, now's a great time for a cheap car
With sales of cheap subcompact cars on the rise in the last quarter, it's obvious that more and more Americans are looking for affordable transportation. This slideshow rounds up the best new car lease deals for July 2024 according to Cars Direct, so these might not be the outright cheapest leases available now, but they're the best values. Some deals are regional while others are national, and some deals do include incentives that lessees must qualify for.
This list includes great lease deals on luxury cars, pickup trucks, EVs, and, of course, some of the outright cheapest leases available now. You might not realize how much car you can get for your money, so don't count out the luxury brand leases just yet. These deals are advertised to be in effect through July 31, so take advantage of them while you can. Also, be sure to check with your local dealer to confirm availability and their willingness to honor these deals.
As always, these prices do not include taxes and fees, and neither do they include the price of car insurance, so make sure you find out how much your insurance will cost you before overextending your budget. Car insurance is more expensive than ever right now, so you don't want to be caught off guard by the unusually high prices. Click here to view more details about these deals on Cars Direct.
2024 BMW i4
Though it isn't the cheapest lease on the list, it's the second-best luxury car lease, and the BMW i4 is the cheapest BMW you can lease right now. It's being offered for a 36-month lease with 10,000 miles per year for $449 per month with $4,869 due at signing. Spreading out the total cost across the 36-month term, it equates to about $584 per month. If you switch from another EV or PHEV, BMW offers an additional $1,000 savings that hasn't been factored into this lease deal yet.
2024 Cadillac CT4
The CT4 is the cheapest luxury car you can lease this month. Cadillac is charging $379 per month for 36 months with $4,009 due at signing on this 10,000-mile-per-year lease. Spreading the costs out across the 36-month term reveals a total cost of $490 per month.
2024 Acura ZDX
Acura's first EV, the brand new ZDX, already has some good lease deals, and it's the second-cheapest luxury SUV lease according to CarsDirect. This is a regional deal, though, so pay attention if you're interested. In California and most CARB states, the ZDX A-Spec costs $449 per month for 36 months, with $4,999 due at signing. Unfortunately this lease only allows for a very low 7,500 miles per year, and includes a $1,000 Acura returning lessee discount. In other parts of the country, expect prices to be $499 per month and $5,999 due at signing.
2024 Buick Encore GX
The Buick Encore GX offers the best lease deal of any luxury SUV this month, but it's only this cheap if you already have a Buick or GMC. Buick is leasing this little SUV for $199 per month for 36 months with $3,149 due at signing. Mileage allowance is 10,000 miles per year, so the effective cost of this lease is $286 per month, or $80 cheaper than a Honda HR-V every month. This lease deal includes a $2,250 loyalty discount that's only available to current Buick and GMC lessees.
2024 Ram 1500
The Ram 1500 is the only full-size truck on the list, so if you need a big cheap pickup to lease, this is the one for you, though it does include a loyalty discount. It's being offered at $379 per month for 42 months with $3,949 due at signing for 10,000 miles per year. CarsDirect says it's a great deal as the MSRP of a Ram Big Horn 4x2 Crew Cab is normally $56,000, yet the effective cost of this lease is just $473 per month. This deal includes a $3,000 loyalty discount for returning Stellantis lessees.
2024 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x2
This is a Southern California regional offer, but it's a good one. Toyota is offering Tacomas for $269 per month for 36 months with $3,999 due at signing with a 10,000-mile annual allowance. The effective cost of this deal is just $380 per month, making it the best pickup truck deal this month.
2024 Subaru Solterra
This deal is valid in most parts of the country, and offers folks a Subaru Solterra Premium for $329 per month for 36 months with no money down and a 10,000-mile annual allowance. That monthly price is equivalent to if not cheaper than the effective cost of most other SUV leases this month, thanks to the lack of a down payment, plus you get standard AWD.
2024 GMC Terrain
In typical GM fashion, this lease deal does have a loyalty incentive that includes $1,750 off when you come from another GMC or Buick lease. If you qualify for this lease, it's a killer deal. $259 per month for 36 months with $2,449 due at signing and a 10,000-mile annual allowance. The effective cost of this lease deal comes out to just $327 per month.
2024 Ioniq 5
The wonderful Ioniq 5 is being offered for $259 per month for 33 months with $3,999 due at signing and a 10,000-mile annual allowance, bringing the effective cost to just $380 per month. This lease deal makes the Ioniq 5 the same price as the nearly-$20,000-cheaper Hyundai Tucson.
2024 Nissan Altima
In the state of New York, Nissan is offering Altima SVs at $189 per month for 36 months with $4,179 due at signing with a 10,000-mile annual allowance. While the monthly payment is very low, the amount due at signing is on the high side, so the effective cost comes out to $305 per month. This is $77 cheaper to lease than an Accord LX in the same region.
2024 Hyundai Elantra
Hyundai came to America with a sizable value proposition over its competitors, and it seems the company hasn't strayed far from its frugal roots. It's offering Elantra SEs for $199 per month for 36 months and $3,499 due at signing, with a 10,000-mile annual allowance. The effective cost of this lease is $296 per month, or about $53 per month cheaper than a Civic LX.
2024 Kia Forte
The Kia Forte LXS continues to be a very affordable vehicle to lease. This month, it's offered for $189 per month for 36 months with $3,499 due at signing and 10,000-miles allowed annually. That makes the effective cost $286 before taxes and fees. Kia is offering this particular deal in 18 states across the country.
2024 Nissan Leaf
In the state of Colorado, Nissan is offering leases on its Leaf S models as low as $109 per month for 36 months with $2,389 due at signing and a 10,000-mile annual allowance. This deal includes a state tax credit that not everyone may qualify for, but the team at TFL Car is actually leasing a Leaf for $19 per month in Colorado, too. The deal discussed here equates to an effective cost of about $175 per month, which is still wildly affordable despite the Leaf's outdated platform.
