After selling more than three and a half million of them, for next year, Toyota felt it’s time to go weird with the Prius. And it works!
I don’t really care about the Toyota Prius. I never did. The most well-known hybrid of them all didn’t cause such a stir in Europe as it did in America, mostly thanks to all the fuel-efficient cars we have already. I got a ride in one a couple of years ago, found it pretty meh and moved on with my life. Prius lady or not, this car remained indifferent to me throughout the years.
Now, I think we can all agree that the hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai looks rather terrible. That’s fine, nobody will buy it anyway apart from a few brave early adopters. How its styling could make it over to any other product is beyond me, but somehow, they seem to have managed to pick the right bits, because the 2017 Toyota Prius looks interesting rather than just plain horrific.
To be honest, I’m a fan.
As for the interior, there are two cupholders. American size! All is well.
