Even though it blew both head gaskets at the Goin' For Broken LeMons, the Pendejo Engineering XJS managed to knock out a fourth-best (out of 108 cars) lap time of 2:16.339.

Shockingly, the Jaguar V12 isn't the most reliable endurance-racing engine ever built.

Some of you may remember this man working on a V12 built by a certain German manufacturer. Yes, Pendejo Engineering has a real thing for V12s!

And who can blame them? Not when the mere addition of monster flares and 315-width tires turned their Jag into what drivers described as "a car that handles just like a 4,000-pound Miata!"

500 bucks my arse... those rims alone are more then that, sure tires are safety equipment and exempted... This thing looks more like a GRM $20XX entrant then a lemons car... That radiator fitting is 30 bucks alone, not including the nice new hose. Let alone getting a running XJS v12 for under 500... Go look on ebay right now, not a single one under $800 that is running...

Lemons seems to be getting away from being 500 buck cars. I know at least personally 2 cars that where sold with a nod and wink to Lemons teams that where worth more then 500 bucks to the team by a MEMBER OF THE TEAM.

P.S.

And those engines are very reliable if they are built right... IE not by the factory.
