The Two Most Amazing Shots Of The Shuttle Endeavour

Today's final launch of the space shuttle Endeavour was remarkable for several reasons, a minor one being that NASA launched with low-hanging clouds over Cape Canaveral — leading to a remarkable photo from a Delta airline passenger.

Due to the clouds, spectators on the ground had 12 seconds of visibility before the shuttle disappeared, as the first picture by a Getty photographer demonstrates. On the flip side, traveler Stefanie Gordon was on a Florida-bound flight when she snapped a few frames from her iPhone, capturing the best shot of Endeavour's last escape from Earth.
