You know how the three German premium manufacturers don’t just have stands at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but their own buildings? Well, the Alfa Romeo Giulia didn’t need to be that shouty. Everybody knew where to find her.
Alfa’s stand was always crowded with people, so despite having four Giulias on stage, it always felt like we needed more. We probably still do, and after a closer inspection, I only had one problem with the car: The looks of its V6.
510 horsepower is a lot by any standard, but while the old Alfa V6 looked like this,
The new one still has too much plastic for my taste. It’s better than the 4C’s completely covered four-cylinder and I like the Quadrifoglio and all, but still...
At least it’s nicely pushed behind the front axle, right?
Then, I realized none of this matters. It just doesn’t, because when you walk by the Alfa stand for the third time that day, and you take a peek, there she is, and she looks awesome. And you want a Giulia in your life.
