As this infographic from Forkparty points out, it's taken nearly forty years to progress from the first widespread use of x-ray scans and metal detectors to today's controversial full-body imaging. And we're definitely safer than we were back then! But given the mounting dissatisfaction with current practices, I'm mostly interested in what this same infographic looks like forty years from now.
