If you wanted to get a new Volvo XC90 as soon as possible, you had to buy one of the 1927 First Edition cars sold through their website. Turns out you only had 47 hours to get one.

Volvo says most of the cars were reserved within one hour from sales start on Sept 3, and at its peak, 7 cars were söld every minute.

The First Editions are 320 hp all-wheel drive T6s in the US with an Onyx Black exterior, 8-spoke, 21-inch wheels, Amber nappa leather seats, a Charcoal leather dashboard and Linear Walnut inlays for $65,900.

Since the car is sold globally, other markets also got it with the 225 hp D5 twin turbo diesel. Here's a reminder why America did not.
