The Entire D.C. Area Is A Snow Clusterfuck Traffic Nightmare Right Now
Besides an obscenely overinflated cost of living, pretension, restaurants that are middling at best, high taxes, and its proximity to Virginia, the worst thing about Washington D.C. is its traffic. And today, on this snowy January morning, it is especially horrible.
That Google map shows the traffic patterns right now across the region, where it's 25 degrees as of this writing and some areas are getting as much as half an inch to an inch of snow per hour. Roads are slick and snowy and nobody's going anywhere.
If you live in the D.C. area and are trying to get around, we at Jalopnik will pray for your souls. Please stay safe and don't get on the roads if you don't have to.
70% of these cars in Rosslyn are not moving at all. You can hear the spinning wheels from 11 floors up! @drgridlock pic.twitter.com/uo0Klk2Dgh
