The Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Has An Air Intake IN ITS EYEBALL

The new supercharged, 600+ horsepower, 6.2l V8 that you'll be able to get in the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat needs a lot of air. How much air? Enough that they put an intake RIGHT IN THE CHALLY'S EYEBALL.

Yep, that's a ram air intake in the driver's side headlight, just like your favorite drag strip-prepped Acura Integra.

The SRT team claims the addition was done as a part of its efforts to clean up the aero on the Hellcat, particularly thanks to its lofty potential high speed. I'm convinced they did it just because it looks cool.

Here's a close up from Dodge's media site.

Man, does that look rad.
