With Jeremy Clarkson fired from Top Gear, it appeared as if the worst had already come to pass. But this all might be far from over, as now the North Yorkshire police are investigating the incident which got him fired to begin with.

Clarkson physically assaulted producer Oison Tymon for 30 seconds at the Simonstone Hotel in North Yorkshire, according to the results of a BBC investigation into what happened. The attack was unprovoked, the BBC said, and Tymon was left with swelling and a bloody lip after a witness stepped in to intervene.
Tymon did not try to fight back, and drove himself to the emergency room after the incident.
