One flying vehicle maker is a little nearer to takeoff (heh heh). Avcen's Jetpod Airtaxi recently passed theoretical, drawing-board testing, and the company will beging preparing for a the proof-of-concept flight-testing phase — in which stuff actually takes to the air. Next, it will enter the structured aircraft certification program and, if all goes smoothly, they will sell one to Sir Richard Branson in no time.
