If I could make a list of German cars I most wish were imported to the U.S., the old Audi RS6 Avant would be somewhere near the top. The last one had a twin-turbo version of the Lamborghini Gallardo V10 stuffed into a wagon, for fuck's sake. It doesn't get much better than that.

Now there's an all-new Rennsport 6 wagon out, and while it loses that psychotic V10 in favor of a 553 horsepower twin-turbo V8, it's now faster and more powerful than ever.

Our pals at XCAR got to take this ultra-wagon for a spin recently, and they found it to be "mind-blowingly fast" even if it's not the most engaging drive out there. Host Alex Goy describes it as completely excessive, but never in a bad way.

But this new RS6 Avant is so excessive, that it was criticized for being too powerful and too fast by the UK's Daily Mail. Maybe they're onto something? After all, the Daily Mail is known for its high-quality, even-handed journalism, never ever plagiarizing anyone, and is never considered the worst news source in the English-speaking world. Ever.

Tell you what, England. If you're too soft to handle the RS6 Avant, then you can send it to us Americans instead. We're up for it if you guys aren't.
