Behold one of the most fantastic collections of cars ever assembled for auction. This year's Auburn Spring auction has everything for everyone. I mean, it even has an NSU Ro80. Come. On.
The Auburn Spring auction, being held May 8 though May 10 in Auburn, Indiana, is mostly packed this year with the John Scotti collection of fine cars. They include a lot of classic American stuff, as well as the oddballs like a '94 Chevy Caprice SS Wagon and the most pristine 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Convertible.
The star for several of us has been this lime green '69 NSU Ro80, a car that just wins the Scotti collection and this whole auction. Very much want with this one.
It's estimated to fetch between $10,000 and $14,000, but like all the 400-something Scotti cars it's offered without reserve. So get this instead of a used VW Phaeton, it's even cooler.
Other novelties include a 1971 Ford Ranchero Squire, which I had no idea was a thing until today. It's reportedly one of a 2,595 production run in '71.
Oh hell, you can even get a DeLorean at this auction.
Seriously, this is what you'll be looking at all of today.
