Before aftermarket body mod shops got in on the act, the only 300C cabrio you could get was an antique ragtop built in the 1950s (Kind of fitting, considering DaimlerChrysler today, that it was a Mercedes). But, at the recent SEMA show, Newport Convertible Engineering, builder of convertible Datsun 280ZXs in the 1980s, showed what it could do with a Chrysler 300C, an axe and a bunch of white paint. We're betting they'll have conmpetition from the big C by mid-2006.
