The Acura ZDX is a luxury vehicle with the styling of a sport coupe, the everyday drivability of a family sedan, and the versatility and capabilities of an SUV.

But put that all together and you get looks that aren't close to that of a beauty queen.

As John Davis democratically put it, the ZDX is dramatically designed. In this context, I think "dramatically" means "looks like a parrot fish."

Unfortunately, this drive was not conducted at a narrow Maryland drag strip AKA the MotorWeek proving grounds. Instead the gang drove the car in New York City and, as an excited John Davis notes, on the roads to the north.

That means we don't have MotorWeek's usual battery of performance tests, like braking and multiple types of slaloms. All we have is a 0 to 60 time of 6.5 seconds to show for the ZDX.

But that's enough of me typing. Take a gander at how this recent motoring artifact conducts itself on the byways of Anytown, USA.

MotorWeek Theater is our showcase of some of our favorite classic reviews from public television's finest motoring program. How does this video only have 48,530 views on YouTube? Acura hasn't even built 1/5 that amount.
