'The 2005 Toyota Corolla XRS Is A Pocket Rocket For The Youth Market'

If you have ever wanted to hear John Davis say the words "turbo, dubs, and bling" in succession, then have I got a video for you!

Those words are practically the first things uttered by our favorite motoring presenter in this, a MotorWeek tour de force review of a Celica-powered Corolla.

The high-po Corolla is just as long as before, but it's a half inch lower to improve stance and handling. Yes. Stance. Remember, the Corolla XRS has the same engine as the Lotus Elise, so, it stands to reason that this is basically a Lotus Elise.

The hot rod Corolla (not our words) feels downright athletic (again, not our words).

Ok, stop reading this. Watch the XRS beige up every road of Maryland to an absurd degree.

MotorWeek Theater is our showcase of some of our favorite classic reviews from public television's finest motoring program. How does this video only have 33,650 views on YouTube? It's a lesson in beige!
