We reported last week that the Red Flag Limo, aka Mao's Motorcar, has been ressurected. Now we know more. The BMW folks are grumbling about how much it resembles the new Rolls Phantom, but to us, it seems more like a cross between a Roller and a Maybach. The Maybach of course, looks like a Hyundai with delusions of grandeur, thus truly closing the gap in the Asian/European influence continuum. Though the concept's non-powered, the folks at Hongki (should it be called the Red Neck, then?), who built the car, are eyeing either V-12 or W-12 power. A W-12 makes one consider VW involvement. Now would Bentley backhand his more prestigious, estranged brother? He just might. Quoth The Bangle, "I'd just like to know more." So do we, Chris. So do we.
