Teen Driving Test Goes Fine, Just Fine
A 17-year-old taking her driver's license test in Buffalo, Minneapolis on Tuesday, uh, well... It could have gone better, by the look of things.
The local police department decided to stay messy and post the details of the crash on Facebook for the whole world to see. According to the cops, the 17-year-old at the wheel, "inadvertently put the vehicle in drive instead of reverse. This led to the vehicle lurching forward when she accelerated, causing the vehicle to move forward and over the curb, striking the building housing the exam station office. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicle and building."
The driving instructor, a 60-year-old woman, had to be hospitalized with "non-life threatening injuries," but no one else was injured. No charges are expected to be filed, as local KXAN News reports.
KXAN did not report if the teen failed the test but I'm not holding out for her, sadly.
Personally, my driving test didn't go this poorly, but I assure you that it felt like it did.
