Take a ride in the world's only Lamborghini Marzal

It's impossible to not love the one-off Lamborghini Marzal, but the Gandini-designed Bertone masterpiece has been largely seen only in the feverish dreams of vintage car enthusiasts since its 1967 debut. Here's a chance to get a view from the inside, with that Miura-sawn-in-half straight six whirring away behind the four seats.

The quality of the video isn't great, but the Marzal does its best to make life easy for the cameraman; there's room in the back for him to sit, and there's plenty of warm sunshine streaming in from the glass roof and glass doors. To say that we're jealous is a drastic understatement. We are ready to divulge national security secrets to have a day with this thing.

The Lamborghini Marzal was sold for something around two million dollars (1.35m Euros) in auction at the Villa d'Este back in May, and it looks like the new owner is slightly more liberal than the car's previous owners with handing out rides in this modernist gem.

It is a hexagonal future that will never become reality, but it is absolutely unique, stunning, and (if the owner of the car is reading this) beautiful, too. To the secret owner of this Lamborghini Marzal, let us just say thank you. Thank you.
