AutoWeek has new photos, reportedly of Nissan's forthcoming Skyline GT-R, a new version of the Japanese racing icon that may finally find its way to the US market. Skyline fans in the US have been begging for this new-generation GT-R — and word is, they'll get their wish at the 2007 Toyko motor show — in this case, essentially an Infiniti G35 fitted with a 450-hp, twin-turbo'd V6, with a suspension tuned by Lotus. What's confusing is Nissan has said the new, US-market Skyline will be badged as a Nissan, not an Infiniti. Damn you, wait-and-see, you brutal mistress.
