It's not likely Bruce Springsteen will write a song to go along with this post, though we might be able to tweak "Thunder Road" to make it more apt. After all, it takes place in Jersey, and it involves a car. Not one, but two readers spotted not one, but two BMW Z4 coupe test cars in Hoboken, New Jersey this past week. Hoboken, for those unfamiliar with the northern New Jersey geography, is about 15 miles from BMW's North American headquarters in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. The silver car, badged as an entry-level 3.0 si, was parked on the east side of the Edwin A. Stevens building on the Stevens Institute of Technology campus, while the black model with badges redacted was seen on a street elsewhere. The new coupe and its M-Powered sibling will go into production later this year. It's not quite a Hemi-powered drone screaming down the boulevard, or the skeleton frame of a burned-out Chevrolet, but really, what is? [Thanks to Barry and Ryan for thinking of us.]
