Spy Photos: 2007 Toyota Camry, Unmasked (Sort of)

From the looks of the redesigned Toyota Camry — at least according to a set of blurry shots spreading virus-like across the 'Net — 2007 may be the year Toyota wakes its midsize sedan from the design snooze it's been in for much of its history. A side shot reveals a (sadly) too-common deference to the BMW 7-Series, as well as an open curtain on Toyo's new "Vibrant Clarity" design language of contrasting hard lines and soft surfaces. A front shot shows off a new headlamp attitude, first seen this year on the company's FSC concept. Still, until we get a proper view we can only wonder if 2007 will be the year the Camry slots in behind Hyundai's Sonata in design aesthetics, or jumps out ahead.
