We were supposed to talk to Adam Carolla today about the first season of The Car Show, but the event was cancelled following a rant on his podcast where he claimed the LGBT community should shut up about getting equal rights and stop "ruining his life."

The announcement of the postponement didn't mention whether or not the rant and the subsequent action by LGBT groups like GLAAD had anything to do with the cancellation, but for some reason SPEED's PR representatives didn't want Carolla to talk with any reporters.

They also were unable to spell Carolla's name correctly. That sort of makes us hope there's a conference call still going on today with Adam Carolla —since they only cancelled a call with some guy named Adam Corolla. We didn't want to be on that call anyway.

Fuck politically correct!

Racism and gender bias is wrong.

Saying that women shouldn't be part of the all Men's Augusta National Golf Club is NOT wrong. If I wanted to join an all Women's organization like NOW do you think they'd let me? No.

Saying you don't like gay people and don't believe in gay rights is borderline for me. Without getting too deeply into a religious debate, since I know many of you don't agree with religion, I'll say that my religion teaches respect for others no matter what and tells me it isn't my place to judge. However, it also tells me homosexuality is wrong. I don't agree with homosexuality but it isn't my place to judge other people. Given my beliefs on that I have a hard time wrestling with my own personal feelings about rights and benefits. Legal guardianship of children? Shared health benefits? Joint tax returns?

Everyone needs to make their own decisions, but if someone wants to argue that homosexuality is wrong and has their reasons for it I don't think they need to apologize for it. I'm not going to hop on a talk show and hate on it even if I don't agree with it, but the only problem I have with Carolla's rant was the fact that he's throwing rocks from a glass house.
