Skoda is rocking it, and to celebrate, their millionth customer of 2014 - who also happened to be Czech - joined the party with his brand new rally-green metallic Octavia Estate vRS 2.0 TSI. An excellent choice indeed.
While the Octavia's buyer was their millionth customer this year, the millionth vehicle produced in Mladá Boleslav in 2014 was a Fabia 1.2 TSI in moon white that rolled off the line on Dec 10 and got donated to a children's charity chosen by the employees.
The Czech brand has grown into a 26,000 strong team within the VW Group and managed to increase its delivery numbers by over 30 percent between 2010 and December 2014. It also holds a strong position in China, with the Asian country being Skoda's strongest market since 2010 that also contributed one quarter of their worldwide sales in the first 11 months of 2014.
All that means is that they have more money to spend on these, which is great.
