The NHTSA is looking into complaints that the panoramic sunroofs on Cadillac SRXs may shatter at highway speeds. There've been a reported 10 injuries from the shattering of the glass tops, although six of them occurred during one incident. So far, GM has installed 30,000 of the units, which are now standard on Northstar-powered SRX models. While these incidents seem some what isolated (and have yet to result in a recall situation), we imagine it'd be rather spooky to lose one's massive sunroof at speed. Especially if it came crashing down around one's ears and all that.
