The driver fled the scene before the car went up in flames. The U.S. automotive Web site Jalopnik reported the story, citing from an October 18, 2013Mexican newspaper Progreso Hoy. Then on November 6, 2013 shares of Tesla fell $25.75 or 14.56% during intraday trading to trade at $155.06 after reporting disappointing third quarter earnings the previous night.
