Apparently his plane crash three years ago didn't damage motorsports mogul Jack Roush's noggin none. Since Matt Kenseth's turnaround in the latter part of the season, Roush is now set to have five cars in the Chase for the Championship, which, for the record, we've always thought was a dumb idea. Nevertheless, the Frances have spoken, and that's the way 'tis for now. There was a lot of hemming and hawing amongst the other teams and drivers before Richmond's race, but the top ten are officially locked in. Expect more hemming and hawing. Surprise? Jeff Gordon didn't make the cut. His strength in the Force just didn't hold out for the rest of the season.
