Best concerts I've seen in the last few years? The Foo Fighters were surprisingly great. I always enjoy The Old 97s and Warpaint always kills that shit. Beach House is strange but that's part of the appeal. TuneYards opens with a woman in a De Stijl African battle dress screaming "DO YOU WANT TO LIVE!?!"
I still go back to Robyn, though. A few years ago I didn't expect to be in the market for Swedish pop music but holy fuck she's like Gozer at the end of Ghostbusters only singing and dancing. Dancing the entire night. Infectious dancing that makes you dance, too.
I'll admit I also may have done this song at post-Gawker Holiday Party Karaoke with the young woman from the third floor who has owned every single track I've ever seen her tackle and I'm not just saying that because I owe her $22. Anyways. Robyn. Enjoy it.
