This city's strange infatuation with a fictional police officer (despite all of our troubles with real cops) continues as RoboCop is set to throw out the first pitch at the Tigers-Blue Jays game tonight at Comerica Park.

"RoboCop," the 2014 remake of the 1987 classic, is out on DVD and Blu-Ray today, so at least one actor in a Robo-costume is on tap for a number of events in Detroit, as it's unofficially "RoboCop Day" here.
