Porsche Ruf CTR3 Not a Cayman, 911 Purists Smile

Nope, it’s not a Cayman. An earlier report had indicated the Porsche tweakers at Ruf had based their CTR3 screamer on the mid-engine coupe. But purists can relax (sorry Farago); it’s derived from the good ‘ol 911. Butt damn, the specs. The twin turbo’d flat six propels it from zero to 62 mph in 3.2 seconds, and the top speed a landscape-engulfing 235 mph. It’ll cost a cool half mil in American money, but that’s about the going rate for this kind of thing. Details follow.
