The Porsche 911 GT2 RS s a stripped-down race version of the already powerful GT2. Loose-lipped VIPs claim the carbon fiber hood and gold-bedazzled wheeled car boasts 620 HP, a 3.2-second 0-to-60 MPH time, and a Nissan-besting Nürburgring lap time.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS officially bows later this week, but invitees at this posh Porsche event couldn't help but take a few cameraphone pics and share some of the details. In addition to the carbon fiber hood and other visual details, rumor has it the GT2 will get a power upgrade to 620 HP and drop about 200 pounds compared to the previous generation.
All this should be enough power to best the previous GT3 RS's 7:33 'Ring time and, more importantly for Porsche, the Nissan GT-R's 7:26.7.
The price of beating a GT-R around the track is supposed to come in around $320,000 for the 300 lucky souls able and willing to buy the limited-edition track star.
