Peugeot Pulls Out Of 24 Hours Of Le Mans

The ongoing battle between Audi and Peugeot at Le Mans and in other international endurance events has defined the sport, but the company says they're ending the program effective now. This means no 2012 Le Mans showdown.

Here's a quote from the company via Reuters:

"This decision has been taken in the context of a difficult economic environment in Europe. Peugeot has chosen to concentrate resources on its sales performance in 2012."
