What's round on the ends, high in the middle, and just banned the use of red-light cameras in law enforcement? Why, Ohio, OK! (oh wait, that's Oklahoma). The state's House of Representatives recently approved a bill that makes the use of such cameras legal only when a police officer witnesses the violation and issues the ticket, in effect, eliminating their benefit. Lawmakers cited cases in which drivers were ticketed in error, and studies indicating such cameras do little to prevent accidents.
