Now You Can Buy a V12 Aston Martin For The Price Of A Toyota Camry

Every week I post one of these things and every week I'm absolutely stunned by the value of the dollar in the used car marketplace. On the secondhand market, you can buy a well-looked after Aston Martin DB9, for the price of a new, fully loaded Toyota Camry. This is why capitalism works, people.

This Aston Martin is one of the best GT cars of all time. Its comfortable seating arrangement and adequate trunk space make it the supercar (don't bother commenting on that one) that you can drive every day.

Its hand-built 6 liter, 450-horsepower V12 makes the acceleration a bit more than brisk, and instead of having some weird semi-automatic single-clutch transmission that goes through clutches faster than Kobayashi goes through hot dogs, it has a regular, 6-speed ZF automatic, which just makes sense.

It has a 950-watt Linn Stereo, great looking blue leather upholstery, and light, untreated wood accents. Its mileage is slightly higher than what's typical, but at 66,000 miles, it's hardly what you'd call "abused". At this price, you'd be crazy not to at least consider this damn near masterpiece of engineering, style, and sound.

Or, y'know, you could always have the Camry. Your choice.
