To the uninformed, Nissan's Amenio concept looks a lot like a plush van, with chaise-style seating that looks more suited for snoozing than cruising. But call it a van, and you'll probably get an smug eye roll from the company's design A-team. To them, it's a "multi-people" (huh?) carrier that furthers Nissan's "Modern Living" concept. The living-room-like interior includes a telematics system designed not for navigation, but for "Earth-browsing" and, astronomical "space browsing." It sure is encouraging to envision a future in which we'll have such an excess of free time for doing dippy crap. Interesting trivia note: For about a minute, we thought it was called the "Arsenio."
