Looking like a cross between a Hefty bag, an Aston, and Eddie Van Halen's guitar, the next-generation Jag XKR coupe has shown up on the spy-photo radar. Reportedly harnessing 400 horses via its 4.2L blown bent-8, the XKR is rumored to be followed up by the XKR-R, with 50 more horsepower, in 2007. Okay, so the XKR is the racy model of the XK, and the XKR-R is the racier model; if Jag ever decides to actually run the thing in competition, will they call it the XKR-R-R? Sounds like a vehicle more appropriate for a pirate than a sporting gentleman, but that's just us.
